Like Father Like Son....:)


After dinner nap on a carpet in our den.....

September came...I didn't even notice when! It sneaked in so quietly when we were still busy enjoying summer fun with its cooler nights, shorter days and falling leaves drifting by the windows. It's been couple weeks since the kids have started their schools already. I can't believe my oldest one is a senior in high school and my olive tree boy is a second grader already.We also have brand new pupil in our household....Vincent is going to the preschool! We started out going a few days, part-time. He really loved it at first. But going to preschool does come with its fair share of emotions, for both the parent and the child. For a kid, entering a new preschool environment filled with unfamiliar teachers and children can cause both anxiety and anticipation. It's like a huge milestone for my son.....He is doing great so far, he walks in very cheerful in the mornings and walks out so proud out of his classroom like a really mature boy!

We were finally able to turn our AC off! What a great weather, I'm able to breath after two months of excessive heat and humidity. My boys went to local playground on their bikes and I'm enjoying peaceful afternoon with coffee in my hand, Sascha - our dog is barking on a deck observing cars and pedestrians. I'm ready to install wood trimming and paneling in our mud room, already purchased wood on a great deal last week and preparing myself for that little project. I'm not sure about the colors yet, I was thinking something darker but it's rather smaller space, l will still have to think about it....

If your children are bored just take them for a train ride! My youngest son is pretty much excited with every single aspect of trains and as much he is active in his little life he was frozen for about an hour during this trip! This ride was like a magic trip for him :)

We are enjoying every single day of summer, living by the lake means swimming, beach exploring and cruising sandy, warm shores on daily basis. Live if great when you are two years old!
